Product Description
Tool Introduction
As shown in the figure, the eccentric micro-reamer is a drillstring-type double-heart bit micro-reaming tool that can be connected to the drillstring to achieve micro-reaming while drilling. The tool has two sets of spiral reaming blades, upper and lower. The lower set of blades is responsible for reaming while drilling or positive reaming during the drilling process, and the upper set of blades is responsible for reverse reaming during tripping. The main function of the tool is to reduce dog leg severity in directional wells, clear micro dog legs and small steps downhole, and ream a wellbore slightly larger than the theoretical diameter of the bit in expandable shale formations and creeping salt, mudstone, and coal formations, reducing reaming time during conventional drilling and ensuring safe and smooth tripping, logging, running casing, and running inflatable packers. In addition, the tool also has the function of cleaning cuttings beds in directional wells and effectively controlling ECD in horizontal and large deviation wells.
