Product Description
Tool Introduction
As shown in the figure, the eccentric micro-reamer is a drillstring-type double-center, while-drilling micro-reaming tool that can be connected to the drillstring to achieve while-drilling micro-reaming. The tool has two sets of spiral reaming blades, upper and lower. The lower blade group is responsible for while-drilling reaming during drilling or positive reaming during downhole operations, and the upper blade group is responsible for reverse reaming during tripping. The main function of the tool is to reduce the dog leg severity in directional wells, remove micro dog legs and small steps downhole, and ream a wellbore with a slightly larger diameter than the theoretical diameter of the bit in expandable shale formations and formations with creeping properties such as gypsum layers, soft mudstone layers, and coal seams. This can reduce the reaming time during conventional drilling and ensure the safe and smooth operation of tripping, logging while drilling, running casing, and running inflatable packers. In addition, the tool also has the function of removing cuttings beds in directional wells and effectively controlling the ECD in horizontal wells and large-displacement wells.
