Eccentric PDC Reamer is a dual center drill reaming tool with a drill string, which can be connected to the drill string to achieve reaming while drilling. The tool has two sets of spiral reaming blade wings: upper and lower. The lower blade wing group is responsible for reaming while drilling or forward reaming during the down drilling process, while the upper blade wing group is responsible for reverse reaming during the out of drilling process. The main function of the tool is to reduce the severity of dogleg in directional wells, remove dogleg and small steps underground, and expand a wellbore with a diameter slightly larger than the theoretical diameter of the drill bit in expansive shale formations, salt gypsum layers with creep, soft mud layers, coal seams, and other wellbore sections. This can reduce the time required for conventional drilling operations and ensure the safety and smoothness of operations such as tripping, electrical logging, casing, and expanding packers. In addition, the tool also has the function of clearing the cuttings surface in directional wells and effectively controlling the ECD of horizontal wells and extended reach wells.
